International Dancehall Workshops
Vybe Nation is committed to providing Western Australian's with the best in authentic Dancehall events including dance workshops with Jamaica's most talented Dancehall dancers.
In 2017 we were honored to welcome Zidan from Xqlusiv Dancers to WA during his first ever Australian tour. Hailing from St Thomas in Jamaica, Xqlusiv Dancers have captured the Dancehall scene with their ‘Free Flow’ style and have rapidly gained international recognition & popularity for their signature Dancehall moves such as Chuck A Step, Step Aside, Topnotch, & Chill Zone.
Zidan’s workshops are renowned for being energetic, expressive & packed with free flow spirit & classic Dancehall vibes.
In 2018 Vybe Nation was lucky enough to host another pioneer of Dancehall Evolution, Shamar Rasta Huxx from Bog Walk, Jamaica.
The 2 hour cultural intensive workshop included a cultural lecture guiding dancers through the history of Dancehall from old school to new, followed by a high energy workshop learning the latest Jamaican party steps and choreography with Shamar's unique Dancehall flavour.
