Vybe Nation is proud to announce that the first official WA Dancehall King & Queen competition will be held in Perth on Saturday 17th February.

 

The WA DHQK competition will be held in the amphitheater at Late Night Valentine in Mt Lawley. It will be an explosive night of Dancehall dance, highly entertaining dance competition, music & culture. There will be non-stop entertainment throughout the night with DJ sets by Aslan, showcases by Elusive Dancers, Alexx Mubanga (DHK Australia 2015), Sarine, Kitty Cat and more.

After the competition, there will be an official after party from 10:30pm featuring Bun Dem Sound System and DJ Blaqknight who will keep the Dancehall vibes going until late.

 

Doors will be open at 6pm so get on down early to enjoy special Caribbean cocktails & food before the competition starts at 7pm SHARP.

 

The competition will be judged by a panel of expert Australian & Jamaican Dancehall dancers including; 

Sarine Perdedjian (Sydney) 
Catherine Pwiti (Melbourne, Burn City Queenz, Jungle City Studios) 
Chuby Dice (Jamaica, Black Dice Crew)
